This 16 x 20 Print of Little Red Riding Hood is the classic fairy tale about a young girl's encounter with a wolf. The story has changed considerably in its history, and has been subject to numerous modern adaptations and readings. One such version was written by Charles Perrault (1628-1703), a prolific author of fairy tales. This version which is one of the earliest known printed versions, was originally known as Le Petit Chaperon Rouge and had its origins in 17th century French folklore.
