"LetterismArt" creates the Bard's image with words alone.
Visualize Droeshout's woodcut of Shakespeare. Now, imagine that instead of the lines creating the portrait, it's words instead - the words in the names of all 37 plays plus Shakespeare's name. These words create the image, the clothes, and the background as well.
It's "LetterismArt" ("LetterismArt" creates images from the repetition of a subject's name or other words) and was created by famous Milwaukee artist, Carl Ruppert. This original and unique image is available printed in black on a faux parchment-tone paper. The actual dimensions of the image are 11.25" wide x 13" long - the total page size is 12" x 17.5"
